howdy folks. i just saw this posting on myspace (yeah, yeah, i know) and thought I'd cross post it here in case anyone might know anything:

"We arrived at work today to find that our shop had been broken into.

Some dumbass(es) stole our:
*Dave Smith PolyEvolver keyboard ($2,400),
*Steve's cream-colored American Stratocaster ($1,000),
*a pair Technics headphones ($99) and
*our $3 thrift store keyboard affectionately known to us as "Sun Ra" because of its light-up space scene illustration.

We're really bummed, especially about Steve's guitar.

If you have any information about the burglary or the stolen items please let us know.

Thanks.

        awh, dammit!
those guys work SO hard to keep that little place, and they provide so many cool events that are completely free to the public . . . it's really disappointing to hear that people are ripping them off. especially since they don't exactly turn around a very high profit on any of the gear they're selling. jesus. if you want to rip someone off, try breaking into guitar center or something. these guys are just trying to get by doing what they love.
