Tue, June 27, 2006 - 3:40 PMI think the trick might be to have it happen only once every few years. If it became an annual event, it would just become yet another street fair. How often do we really need to close the streets to have vendors who aren't even part of the neighborhood selling their crap? Although, I realize some people do love that charbroiled pigeon-on-a-stick. -
